This year, the ceremonies of profession and the taking of the habit for the teaching Dominicans of Fanjeaux were held in the welcoming church of the school of Saint-Joseph-des-Carmes in Montreal-de-l'Aude (France).
A recollected crowd joined the Congregation of the Holy Name of Jesus as ten sisters made their perpetual profession, five their temporary profession, and five others took the habit. Fr. Philippe Nansenet preached on fidelity in this land sanctified by St. Dominic’s preaching.
“What will become of sinners?” The prayer of the founder of the Dominican Order is the same prayer Our Lady requested at Fatima, a prayer of “supplication for sinners”.
May Our Lady, whose Rosary the children of St. Dominic champion, continue to protect and raise up many Dominican vocations.
