Canada : Please, can you help my school! Holy Family School of Lévis?

Source: FSSPX News

Located on the cliff, with a view of the majestic St. Lawrence River, our school enjoys an exceptional natural setting to welcome students from the first year of elementary school to the last year of secondary school. Our institution, recognized by the MELS[1], seeks to offer young people a comprehensive education where spiritual life, literature, sports and artistic activities intertwine and allow young and old to blossom in a family environment.

Summer 2020 Projects

The heritage building, which is now home both to priests and experienced teachers, reopened in 1990 after being abandoned for more than a decade. As a result, we are facing great challenges, challenges that are all the more important since we do not benefit from any subsidies. However, over the years, room after room is regaining its vitality thanks to the support of generous donors.

This summer, an important project awaits us. The wood lining of the fire escape landings and the metal structure are severely damaged. This work requires no less than $25,000.

In addition, the fire inspectors are asking for the electrical system of our picturesque gymnasium to be upgraded. This is in addition to the water-permeable, corrugated sheets on the roof. That's $4,000 we need to invest before the new school year starts.

Finally, we chose to refresh the 5th and 6th grade classrooms as well as the 4th and 5th floor hallways. This last project is estimated at $1,000.

We appeal to you to support this unique educational work in Quebec. Help us to offer these children a future worthy of the builders.
