Are you a devout Catholic who loves the Tridentine Mass and Catholic Tradition? Consider making a donation to help the Society of Saint Pius X in Canada.
Why make a donation?
The Society of Saint Pius X depends on the support of its faithful and benefactors. Our apostolate needs your generosity.
According to Don Bosco : A very effective, but also very neglected means of gaining paradise is almsgiving. By almsgiving, I mean any work of mercy exercised towards one’s neighbour out of love for God (1). God says in Sacred Scripture that almsgiving obtains forgiveness of sins, even very many sins: “Charity covereth a multitude of sins” (I Pet 4:8). And the divine Savior expresses himself in the Gospel: “What is beyond your needs (NB. Vulgate: ‘Quod superest’), give to the poor” (Lk 11:41) “He that hath two coats, let him give to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do in like manner” (Luke III). God assures us that everything we do for the poor he considers as his own. “Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to Me” (Matt XXV). Don Bosco invites us to give alms
If, therefore, you desire God's mercy for you, begin by showing mercy to the poor. You will say, "I do what I can. But be careful that the Lord asks you to give to the poor all that is superfluous: "Whatever is beyond your needs, give it to the poor. ».
Teach your children to give
Involving one's children in giving to the Society of St. Pius X is also a beautiful work of education. It is a matter of reminding children of the good they can do and showing them how privileged they often are. The support then will continue from generation to generation.
Be assured, dear friends and benefactors, of our gratitude and prayers in the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
