  • September 2005 - District Superior's Letter

    The Society makes a pilgrimage of reparation to Fatima, Portugal where Our Lady appeared in 1917. Twenty seven Canadians and 65 Americans joined the pilgrimage. We received an ice-cold Novus Ordo welcome. Rome considers the relations with the Society purely as a matter of discipline whereas it's also and more importantly a question of doctrine.

    Canadian professor proposes state control over religious doctrine. The bishop's typical silence is not really a cause for wonder since they have promoted liberalism for forty years. They aren't about to use arguments of faith against the lies of liberalism. We have a responsibility to pray for our bishops who have a great responsibility before God.

    John Paul II is dead and has been judged by Our Lord Jesus Christ. Those imbued with an ungodly and worldly spirit praise him as John Paul the Great. Let us face the fact that his pontificate was a series of scandals and overall a disaster. Cardinal Ratzinger is now Pope Benedict XVI; we can be cautiously optimistic for the future.
